Betsy Herbert

I'm a computational neuroscientist and an artist based in Munich. My PhD research at TUM is on cortical development, currently building models of how the brain builds itself. I also have a long-running interest and practice in the arts, mostly drawing, painting and photography. Together with Adrian Cipriani I run Ursprung, a retreat series and an attempt at building better environments for interdisciplinary creative exchange.
